IDK Mini Project
IN THIS MINI-PROJECT WE CAME UP WITH A QUESTION THAT WAS RELATED TO EITHER BIOLOGY OR ENGLISH, WHICH WE WANTED TO LEARN MORE ABOUT. I CHOOSE A QUESTION RELATED TO BIOLOGY, MY QUESTION WAS HOW DO EYES WORK? WE HAD TO RESEARCH THE QUESTION AND FIND AN ANWSER.
XONR8 Theater
Introduction- For the XONR8 Theater project we were in groups of 3-4 people. In these groups we decided on one person, a past or current client of the Innocence Project, we did research on them and interviewed a lawyer from the Innocence Project for more information about the case. From all this information we had to create a "verbatim play", this meaning that our plays had to be word by word what the lawyer that we interviewed had said. During the whole process my group interviewed 2 people , the director of the Innocence project and a lawyer.
Final Script Draft Process - Process the our team used to complete and finally make our final product was that we went through several different steps. The first things we had to do was obviously interview the lawyers, with all this information we created a interview map, this helped us gather all our thoughts and see all the information all laid out since it was a lot of information. Next we created individual script drafts, from these we then created our groups first draft script.
We presented our plays in a theater to our parents and
people that work at the Innocence Project.
people that work at the Innocence Project.
This is where all the lighting happened.

Reflection: During the exonerate project we had to work with other people make these play and that could be hard at times, but we got through it and it all worked out in the end. The fact that it was verbatim was also something that made it hard to do and all this factors made it a project that we really had to work hard towards to complete it. We went through many steps in class also to get to the final product that we had, and in the end I was really proud of the things we accomplished. What I contributed was that I wrote most of my groups first draft and I was proud of myself for writing this because I had never written a play before. I learned about working with others in this project and also about writing something that will eventually be acted out. The moment that sums up the whole project was when all the adults clapped for us and it was a really special moment.
